About Reva Shelters

Reva Shelters is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide basic shelter solutions during times of need. We live in a world with a growing population and an increasing number of natural and man-made disasters, which leave many displaced from a safe environment where they can sleep, cope with loss privately or simply control their surroundings. Our shelter solutions will focus on serving civilian and military use, as well as refugee and homeless displacement issues. Reva Shelters is tax exempt under IRS 501(c)(3).

Why Reva Shelters

Current shelters for disaster relief and temporary military housing solutions do not address people’s individual needs when they are going through a challenging time. Some people have pets, which are almost never allowed to stay in a shared space with others. Others have medical and psychological differences that require environmental flexibility and privacy. Large volume function specifiers can have substantial cost savings on using impermanent housing that can be flat-packed and reused. Reva Shelters is also sustainable in terms of the building footprint that we leave behind. Our goal is to create a global community of architects, designers, engineers, and trade professionals who can contribute to innovative, intelligent, and efficient solutions for their regions. Such a community would better prepare us to live in times where circumstances require us to put our needs ahead of our wants

How We Are Helping

We don’t just provide an appropriate shelter solution; we also offer quick access in high-risk zones by pre-storing the shelter systems locally. This reduces the lead time of delivery and allows first responder organizations to work faster. Through our membership program and regional chapters, Reva Shelters offers free training on region-specific risks and the strategic assembly of our shelter solutions.
