Valeriy attended the Coal and Chemical Technological Institute of Krivoi Rog, Ukraine, where he earned a BA in Electrical Engineering. He later graduated from the Mining Academy of Ukraine with a MS in industrial engineering. Valeriy managed processing and automation programming and technology for a steel plant. In 1993, he immigrated to the United States, where he reinforced his technology education in New York and worked as an assistant to the vice president in the IT department at the Bank of New York for 17 years. He has held the same position for the past 11 years at the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi.
Valeriy has been an active blood donor for over 20 years and enjoys working in the garden and on home improvement projects. His ability to value engineers is remarkable, which is why he makes the best manager of finances.
